Below you will find step-by-step instructions on how to join this program, as well as the many details and advantages of taking part.
BENEFITS
1. You will receive outstanding screenplay feedback utilizing an enhanced hybrid of actual studio coverage forms. Our WSF Screenplay Coverage goes above and beyond studio coverage by offering more in depth analysis of your screenplay, utilizing the guidelines and expectations of the film industry. CLICK HERE to review the Official WSF Screenplay Coverage form (At the top of the PDF file, zoom to 100%).
2. You will learn what it is like to be on the other side of the “Hollywood table” as a script reader. Utilizing this coverage form, you’ll be able to understand and get into the heads of studio executives, producers, talent, and representation.
3. You will learn a lot about your own writing and evolve as you observe where other scripts succeed and fail.
4. You will be helping your peers and fellow WSF members as they help you.

5. You are now all signed up!
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
1. All participants must be active WSF members with dues paid.
2. All participants must submit at least one screenplay for review.
3. All participants must offer feedback for at least one screenplay that you have read and are ready to review using the WSF Screenplay Coverage form. This is a free service, monetary-wise. The price of admission is offering up your own screenplay for review and offering up your time to read and review for others.
4. All participants understand that the program coordinator will have access to coverage forms in transit and that the WSF may utilize the various research percentages available through Survey Monkey analysis. The WSF may use this collected, but anonymous, information for research and educational purposes.
PROCESS
1. Once you have your passwords and Judge I.D. number, you can begin to upload your own screenplays to the database. Just sign onto the database at www.wiscreenwritersforum.sharefile.com using your email address as a sign-on and the password that was sent to your from sharefile.com (you can then change your password if you’d like). Click on the only folder present, entitled “WSF Member Screenplays”. Then click UPLOAD FILE, attach your screenplay file, put your logline in the “details” section, and upload it to the folder. Please be sure that your screenplays have a title page and that the PDF file is named as your screenplay title.
2. To download screenplays for review, click on the WSF Screenplay Feedback folder. You will then see all of the screenplays that have been updated for review. Click on the screenplay that you choose and it will be downloaded to your computer.
3. After reading the screenplay, go to the WSF website homepage and click on the WSF Screenplay Feedback Logo. Scroll down and you will find the WSF Screenplay Coverage section. Enter the password you’ve been given and the form will open up.
4. When you do feedback coverage for a screenplay, you MUST input your Judge I.D. number in the allotted space. This is required so we know that you’ve completed at least one screenplay review and so we can track who has reviewed what screenplays.
5. Once a screenplay has been reviewed and the reviewer has submitted the coverage form, a PDF version of the feedback coverage results will be emailed to the writer.
The WSF Screenplay Feedback Program is an exclusive venture for the benefit of all WSF members. It’s free. It’s helpful. You’ll hone your skills as a writer AND learn how to judge your own writing with the mindset of what studios, producers, talent, and representation look for in a spec script.
