Welcome to the WSF Screenplay database.  Below you will find select screenplays of produced movies.  Some successful, some not.  These are Hollywood screenplays and there is no better way to learn about the art and craft of screenwriting than by reading screenplays, especially onces that have seen the light of day in the film industry.

All of the below are presented in PDF format (some exceptions).  If you go to certain databases like www.script-o-rama.com, www.dailyscript.com, etc., many of the screenplays are actually transcripts.

We always recommend reading online screenplays that are offered in PDF format.  They look like screenplays, sometimes they are the actual photocopied pages of the screenplays, and overall they usually represent the proper format and structure that you should follow.

Some of these are shooting scripts so be aware that you need to avoid inserting Camera Angles, Cut To Transitions, Scene Numbers, etc. into your screenplays.  Also avoid writing overly long scene descriptions and the use of “We” within scene descriptions as well (”We see…”, “We hear…”, etc.).
